| DESCRIPTION | | Andre Gill was a famous French caricaturist who captured the essense of famous people from his day. However, Napoleon's portrait displeased him so much the journal in which it was to be published, was banned. Andre died in 1885 and is buried in Pere Lachaise Cemetary, along with the likes of Proust, Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison. |
